Lomondview Piper

This tiny brindle puppy grew into a very beautiful, intelligent and clever dog. He is rather reserved, not too keen to ingratiate himself and he knows exactly what is the right thing to do. He takes one glance to take in a situation in my family, and in his own Scottie family, where he is recognized and respected as the leader. His nature has won him many admirers both amongst dog lovers and many show judges. It is the big passion and love of his life to attend dog shows and to be shown. He has won many awards over the eight years of his life.

Lomondview Louise

The founder of my own breed "z Klicperova Chlumce" is the above mentioned black bitch from the Loch Lomond area. She has had three successful litters in her life. She has delivered and raised 17 beautiful "children" without even the slightest problem. Some of them found new homes in Austria, Hungary, Slovenia and Germany, while two of them actually left Europe to start a new life in Israel with the breeder and current President of the Scottish Terrier Club of Israel. In addition to fulfilling her maternal duties so well, my Louise has also been successful at shows. She has been awarded many appraisals over her show career.
Obviously, I have kept one puppy from each of her litters.
    They are:
ADELEIN z Klicperova Chlumce
BASCO z Klicperova Chlumce
CLEO z Klicperova Chlumce

Adelein z Klicperova Chlumce

I selected my first "girl" out of a litter of seven in the first week after their birth. There was no need to think long and hard about her. I could see at once that she was the right one for me. Now five years on, I know that my judgement was right. She is completely devoted to me and does not make a single step without her "mummy."
She feels at home at championship shows. She is fearless and shows no worries or anxieties. So we go onwards and upwards to show successes. Indeed, they are not inconsiderable.
My dear Adelein is already a mother. She had two litters in her life without any problems, a total of 9 puppies. Many thanks for all of them, Adelein, they are perfect. You are not going to have any more puppies. It is now the turn of the younger ones.
I have kept a female puppy from each litter.
    They are:
DORIS z Klicperova Chlumce
ESTER z Klicperova Chlumce

I will mention them at the end because they are at the moment the latest puppies of my Scottie family. Their other siblings live in Poland, one bitch in Slovakia and one in Hungary.

Basco z Klicperova Chlumce

I kept a dog Basco z Klicperova Chlumce from Louise's second litter. He is an archetypal Scottie. He is short, compact, with a long narrow head, and obviously a full set of teeth. He rather resembles the modern English Scottie. It is for this reason that I always take good care to choose stud dogs which carry the Lomondview bloodline.
Basco is a little rascal and a big fighter. He is also very good at shows, just other battles for him to wage. However, he loses now and again, although not due to any fault of his own. But because he is a tough Scottish terrier, he does not make much of it (and he taught me to do the same).
Now the shows. We have participated in many of them and the results are good. Just judge for yourselves.

Cleo z  Klicperova Chlumce

The time came when my little Louise gave birth once again - for the third and last time. Once again we had five black and tiny "mice". It was immediately clear that one puppy would have to stay with us. As a woman, and a dog breeder, I myself made the decision instantly. It had to be the dog Cleo. He has an exceptional nature - he is calm, tough, nothing upsets him, and furthermore he is good natured. He allows his fellow dogs to scold him - in a dog's way - such as a bite on his ear if he comes too close to a bitch in heat - after all one does not do that in a respectable family. And not a whimper to be heard! He is rather reserved, as if spellbound in meditation. He is not intrusive, nor does he boisterously show his love, indeed he is rather restrained in all his affections.
He has a beautiful head and lovely eyes, which tell all there is about him. His coat is second to none. Thus, he keeps getting very good marks at every show. One Slovakian judge summed all this up by recording that Cleo was "most impressive". I take this opportunity to thank him and make my admiration known here. Cleo is only three years old, yet he can boast many remarkable achievements at dog shows. Isn't he wondeful?

Doris z Klicperova Chlumce

She is a bitch with a beautiful, noble and long head. She has a wiry and rich black coat. She is no stranger to championship shows. I started to show her when she was a mere puppy. I do hope that she will be successful and follow in the footsteps of other members of our Scottie family. Nothing would make me happier. After all, she has already experienced the taste of victory at shows. This must be a nice feeling. In the meantime she has magnificently coped with becoming a mother for the first time. Without any problems she gave birth to three beautiful, healthy and high-spirited offspring. Her "girl"lives in Mallorca and one "boy" in Germany. And the third one?  Well, I could not part with him. He stays with me, often sitting on my lap. He is called Frederik z Klicperova Chlumce. He will introduce himself later on, once you have read about the others in our Scottish pack.
The second delivery was without problems as well. This time she gave birth and perfectly raised 7 healthy gorgeous kids. One boy lives in Austria and the second one in Slovakia, girls are in Belgium and Luxemburg. The others satyed in the Czech Republic. I hope all of them found a great home and loving owners.

Since the first two deliveries were problemfree we dcided to mate her for the third and the last time. She have birth to six healthy lovely babies. Cleo became father again. One girl lives in Slovenia, one boy in Belgium and the others stayed in the Czech Republic. The most important thing is that all puppies became real members of their new famillies, are spoiled and loved  and that I found great new friends.

And now a few words about my youngest bitch Ester. At present she is still a small and naughty child. She is high spirited, curious and stubborn. It seems that training her might not be easy. Yet, I do not want her to obey every word of mine, in fact none of the Scottie pack does that. Despite that, or just because of that, we seem to live happily together and that is what we most desire.

I have started to take her to shows. She seems to do quite well, yet it is hard work to manage her on the exhibition round. She is rather high-spirited. Yet, the most important thing is that she appeals to many people. She is not one year old yet and already a Junior Champion of the Czech Republic.

Since then she won with many show awards and I experienced a lot of great moments with her. At the age of 3,5 she had her first puppies, 2 boys and 2 girls. I kept one boy with me - his name is Charlie.

I am little Frederik. They call me Freddy. At present I eat a lot, I go to beddy-byes a lot, not to mention being mischievous towards my Mistress. Still, she calls me her SUNSHINE. My temperament, they say, comes from my dad. Nothing bothers me, I am content and in good mood all of the time. I already go to shows. Although, at present it is merely to accompany the others and to learn how to behave well. They cointed my teeth very often but I did not like it. I always bit them! But they were happy - I HAVE ALL TEETH!

The time flies............ Now I regularly participate in shows and have good results and evalutaions. I'm already a CZECH JUNIOR CHAMPION, CHAMPION of SLOVAKIA and CZECH REPUBLIC. Let's see what will come next. Apparently I have a lot of things to learn. I stlill mischief and bite and don't listen to my "mummy".

I've been a grown-up for quite some time, have many beautiful children and lots of show success. I still don't like the show position but what I really love about shows is to fight with my competitors in a showring. My missus is always upset but I hope the leach must tear one day soon.

This little boy was born as the last one and immediately got my attention. He was the leader among all puppies and I felt that he would stay at home. That is why he was named after his famous grandgrandfather from Lomondview. Now he started to discover the outside world.

We can be sure now: HE HAS ALL TEETH !!!!!!!!!!!!!

He is an experienced dog today has been through many shows. His Titel - and Championship collection has significantly extended. Despite beeing the youngest one in our Scottie band (2 years), he is the big boss and gets really mad when the others refuse to listen to him. Then he needs to start a big fight to gain control again.

This is another memeber of our family, IVANKA. She was the first born puppy and at the moment I held her in my hand, I told her :"You are going to be my Ivanka!" And it bacame.

As a puppy she has successfuly started her show career and finished a few shows with a podium position.

I was very impatient when her second teeth started growing and was counting them every day. Now we are both happy - SHE HAS ALL TEETH AS WELL!!

My name is JAN but they call me HONZIK. This is where I was born and where my mummy Ester, brother Charlie, sister Ivanka and other friends live. They all love me and I sometimes like to tease them. Appanrently, I will get better as time goes. At least this is what my mistress thinks but I'm not so sure.....
I'm still a little boy. But one thing is certain. I WILL STAY IN THIS FAMILY FOREVER!
They take me to shows quite often and I don't like it. I must behave and that is no fun. I'm very stubborn. Also they were counting my teeth all the time. Finally, they let me in peace, I HAVE ALL TEETH!
I have been oficially recognized as "SUITABLE FOR BREEDING", this means I'm a mating dog! Girls, I'm looking forward to you!
The shows are not so bad after all, I really enjoy being on the winner's podium and receive awards!

So I was left at home and I'm so happy for that! I have here mummy Ivanka, daddy Honzik (Jan), grandma Ester and two more uncles. My mistress was hesitating a lot, she thought that it was enough of us at home. But I feel great here, I have so many friends to play with!

Yes, I was hesitating.
I know the average life expectancy of a Scottie.
I know how old I am.
But my heart has won. KATKA STAYED AT HOME.
